Senior Advertising Account Executive
Our familiar blue envelope mails twelve times a year, and due to our rapid growth, we are currently seeking 2 Senior Sales Account Executives for the McAllen-Edinburg-Pharr-Mission area. As a Senior Account Executive, you will get in on the ground floor as we expand across the valley from McAllen to Harlingen. Be responsible for local sales, account management, developing promotions and the advertisements that your clients need to reach their dynamic Valpak audience.
What you will do as a Senior Account Executive:
- Build and maintain client relationships through prospecting and on-going service calls.
- Develop a client base and meet sales revenue and profit goals.
- Develop and implement effective marketing plans specifically targeted to assigned territory and client type.
- Work with individual clients to determine and fulfill their advertising needs, including Internet and single piece direct mail advertising.
- Manage Accounts Receivable for client base.
- 5+ years prior sales experience (Media/advertising preferred)
- Strong cold-calling, business development and prospecting skills
- Creativity for developing the perfect ad for your clients
- Strong negotiation and listening skills
- Professional appearance, ethical behavior, and a desire to work in a professional, positive environment
- Strong desire to join the BEST Ad Sales Team in South Texas
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent compensation (base salary plus high commission rate) to start
